Veridian Stream

As a large portion of the river, and the stretch of turf that runs beside it, the Veridian Stream takes up a fair section of the land, although of course most of it is off-limits to all but the bravest, strongest of animals who are not afraid to test their might against the current. While bright and cheerful during the day, at night the Stream gains a far more sinister quality, lit by barely any light from the moon, and rumoured to be haunted by the ghosts of three Pleuvals who lost their way in the thick of winter. The grass here is short and well-kept, as though it has been trimmed regularly, but this is impossible on a planet without humans, adding to the mystery of the place.
